Just minutes away, in the town of Eagle River, there are myriad shopping and dining options to meet your needs and wants.
There are two large grocery stores, Bonsons and Trigs, in downtown Eagle River offering all the foods and products that one finds in larger metropolitan area groceries.
Additionally, Eagle River has a quaint downtown strip with many interesting shops selling a spectrum of products and services unique to the Northwoods. Go a few miles in any direction to visit appealing towns such as Three Lakes, St. Germain, Minocqua, and Land O Lakes that also have many cute stores and good restaurants.
On Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July weekend, Labor Day weekend, and the first weekend of October, Eagle River hosts fun filled craft shows at their fairgrounds. Offering a variety of crafts, food, music, and entertainment, these shows are a great way to spend an afternoon while absorbing the country ambience.
Eagle River also has a five screen movie theater in the downtown area.
